Dr. McCullough treats cats, dogs and a variety of other small animals and exotics, including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and gerbils. She completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology at Brandeis University prior to attending the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Originally from Medford and now living in Chelmsford, along with 3 adorable cats (Watson, Cricket and Rosalind), her husband Dan, and their young daughter. They enjoy spending as much as time they can together cuddling and playing with their pets!

Stephanie Saglimbeni, DVM
Dr. Saglimbeni grew up in Venezuela and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in Colombia before moving to the United States with her husband in 2016.
Dr. Saglimbeni and her husband have a young son, two cats, and two dogs. There are a lot of legs running around their home! In her spare time, she loves going to the beach and taking pictures of wild birds. She is thrilled to get to know the people and pets of Burlington and the surrounding community!

Mark Fagan, DVM

Originally hailing from Queens, NY, Dr. Mark Fagan made his way to Tufts University for undergrad—and never quite left Boston, thanks to meeting his future wife there (love story meets life plan). He earned his veterinary degree from Cornell University and has been practicing since 2013, including several years running his own clinic. As a dedicated general practitioner, Dr. Fagan brings years of experience, a calm demeanor, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. When he's not at the hospital caring for pets, he's usually chasing after his children and dogs. He enjoys traveling, running, and watching nostalgic movies from the 80s and 90s. |
Sophia Upton, DVM

Dr. Sophia Upton earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include animal behavior, surgery, and dentistry.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two beloved pets—a spirited Husky mix named Pooka and a sweet Persian cat named Remy. When she’s not caring for animals, you can often find her gardening, painting with watercolors, or reading a good book. |
Lisa Jenkins, Practice Manager
Lisa has over ten years in the veterinary field and it shows. Clients love the time she takes to discuss their pets and book them the medical care their pet needs!
When she's not manning the reception desk at CSAH, Lisa is busy kayaking, reading, gaming, or collecting sand to view in her microscope. She also loves crafting. You all may have noticed her artistic touch at CSAH - her love of Star Trek has led to the cat room art work with thanks to her husband for his handy photoshop skills. Dr. McCullough’s fondness of Star Wars required equal representation, making our cat room a geeky safe space. (Yes those are all current or former staff pets).
She shares her home with her husband Richard, an adorable German Shepherd mix and two beautiful cats.

Charlene McLaughin, Head Groomer
Charlene is a certified groomer with almost 30 years of experience grooming cats and dogs, including breed specific grooms such as handstripping and carding as well as some experience grooming dogs shown in the AKC breed ring.
She and her human family share a home with two dogs, two rats, two hens and an adorable horse, Baby.
In her spare time, Cherlene enjoys hiking and boating with her husband. When at home, she likes to spend time with her family, training her dogs and spending time at the barn with Baby.

Nicole Powderly, Head Technician

Nicole joined the CSAH team in June 2024 and brings 16+ years of veterinary knowledge with her! She graduated from Becker College with a degree in Veterinary Technology after working as a CNA in human hospitals. In her spare time she enjoys the lake life with her daughter and husband at Lake Winnipesaukee and doing endless amounts of crafts. At home she has a bearded dragon named Forest and a leopard gecko named Cheesecake.

Gabby Moreno, Veterinary Technician

Gabby has been in the veterinary field since finishing high school. She loves working with animals, particularly exotics. She recently graduated from Middlesex Community College with her BS in Biology and AS in Veterinary Technology. If you hear laughing out back, it will usually involve Gabby as she helps keep the work environment here fun.

Doraja Reischwitz, Veterinary Assistant

Doraja recently graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in sociology and criminology. During this time she discovered a passion for veterinary science and has been immersing herself in the field ever since. Outside of school she worked as a dog trainer and volunteered at the humane society of greater Miami. She also got her first ever puppy, Mango! She is now about to start a pre-medical post baccalaureate program at Tuft’s and hopes to one day attend veterinary school.

You could say Chris was born for a life in veterinary medicine: both his parents are veterinarians. Chris comes to us with an amazing attention to detail and a drive to deliver the best to all our patients.
When not at work Chris likes to spend time with his rescue dog, Bandit, who some of you may recognize as a sometimes greeter at the front desk. A blackbelt in karate, he also enjoys time with friends and family and gaming. |
Samantha Swan, Veterinary Assistant
Samantha comes to us with years of veterinary customer service under her belt. She has quickly become one of our clients favorites. Always wanting to learn she has stepped up to learn to be a veterinary assistant. In the few months she has been with us she has picked up on things quickly and is growing by leaps in bounds.
When not at work she can be found with family and or friends, enjoying crafting, reading, and movie nights. Her adorable rescue dog, Hazel, is also known to clients as the little dog greeting you loudly sometimes behind the front desk.

Claire joined CSAH in January of 2025 bringing many years of experience. Claire graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology and has worked in veterinary practices, a zoo, and animal shelters.
In her spare time Claire enjoys photography, watching scary movies, and spending time outdoors with her husband Will and dog Buddy. You may occasionally see Buddy greeting you with a wagging tail from behind the front desk! |

Mary loves spending time with her two dogs, Sammy & Tally, as well as her family and friends. She loves reading, going to the gym, and crocheting. Mary also loves trying new restaurants and spending her weekends in Maine.
